Has anyone found a way to add 2 different types of frieze boards?  Designing a stone front on home with brick frieze and accents.  Sides and back of house will be stucco or siding but would like to add a wood frieze trim at the soffit.  SoftPlan seems to not allow more than one type of frieze.  In the past I've added banding at the soffit, but wondering if anyone hasAttached File  Frieze Bd.JPG   115.82KB   0 downloads found other options?

Same issue in the gables with Shakes/ siding.

Even though banding has its challenges, personally I have found it to be the best way for exterior trim details.

it's ridiculous that you can have MULTIPLE different frieze boards, but they all HAVE to be the same colour. You'd think that they would be separate wouldn't you?

I do like how we can now choose a finish for beams and other elements of a model. Wonder if they could add that to the frieze menu. And, the splash board menu while they're at it.

Thanks for the feedback.

Suggestions have been made to have Finish options for Frieze Boards and Splash Boards.

It would be awesome to have this for soffit, fascia, and corner boards on walls as well.

I would take it one step further, give every drawn object the opportunity to assign a material like you do with beams so that you can make it easier to change matching trims with one step.

For example, lets say you have a timber frame drawn with beams and columns and your siding, frieze board, splash board, corner trims, deck boards, deck fascia, deck railing all match. Instead of changing all of these to specific finish individually you could change them all to "Wood 3" or something like that. Then you can try out different finishes and combinations.
