I have 2 physical offices that I work from.  I ordered a 2nd key, which came today, but the files aren't linked from one key to another.

I called Tech Support to see if we could link the files on their end, but they said I'd have to go into each file and share it with myself.

Does anyone know a faster way?  is there a way to 'batch' share or something like that?

I added the 2nd key to my account for convenience, but it's proving to be not convenient at all.

Seems like that ought to be easy, but...I put my key on a lanyard and carry it from one office to the other. Kind of a hassle, but I've gotten used to it. "Wallet, phone, car keys, SP key...ready to go"

I don't believe there's any way to Batch Share, and as you say, going into every project is a real bind.

I've long been a proponent of a DUPLICATE key - and even suggested such - so that we can use keys in two places without worrying about forgetting it. Same Key number, and CAN'T be used in two places simultaneously. Should also be more economical for Softplan to provide, as it's obviously NOT another user.

I live 110 km (68 miles) from my office, so going back home as I've forgotten a key isn't an option. So I just don't use Softplan at Home just in case.

I keep all my projects on Google Drive and set the Google Drive Projects folder as the Drawings Location. I do the same with symbols, electrical, openings, drawing templates, etc. This is all shared with about 10 people who have everything set up the same way. The result is that everything is shared so there is no having to share or transfer files to anyone else. We use Google Drive for Desktop to manage it all. https://www.google.com/drive/download/

We use Dropbox much the way Bill uses Google Drive Projects. It works great, except when my internet in the mountains is slow and hasn't had a chance to catch up on the latest files.

I would love to see softplan get rid of the keys someday.  Lumion uses a "floating" license...I can log in from anywhere as long as I have an internet connection.  The downside..you can only be logged in one time so if forget to log out at the office, you'll get an error message when you try to log in at home.  I'm sure there are issues with this that may  cause more heartburn than carrying a usb key around.  Like most...I carry mine on my key chain

I prefer to not have to use a key or login every time I am using a program. My internet can be slow and a physical key is a pain when traveling. I understand the need to secure the system from pirating, but there ought to be another way of working it.

I've requested this a few times over the last 10 years and usually don't get a response. I work from different locations and hate carrying around a usb stick. If every software company did this, it would make working from different locations unbearable. Not  to mention I'd need a few USB hubs hanging off my PC.

Unlike Softplan, many other software vendors have figured this out. Adobe is a good example too. You can install the software on multiple PCs, but only login and use the number of licenses you've purchased. If you go to signin and the license is being used, you can force another PC to sign off so you can use it.
