In my model view, I have a clean drawing. In my planset view, a black object has appeared which I cannot find to delete. So far in looking for it, I've turned on all layers, turned on all visibilities, extracted all objects in 3D, looked in all floor plan views. At a loss here about finding this thing.

Okay, found it. I had exploded some appliances to get their 2D linework. I moved some of the linework and turned them into symbols. The paint fill of one of the objects must have been left behind. As the fill was white in the plan view, I couldn't find it. I copied the plan view into another file and turned everything on. A small red point showed up. Deleted this and the black fill went away. I couldn't see the small point in the original file with everything turned on because of all the other items in the drawing. That's a couple of hours I won't get back. I guess the lesson is that if you are to explode things, put them off to the side or on another layer so you have some control if things go awry.

Even if you can't see something, CTRL-Select can select and delete things.

If you turn the paint seed point ON, you can delete the paint at the seed point.

How do I turn on the paint seed point on? I couldn't find anything which looked like that in all the various visibility pallettes.

Keith,

Found it. In the help file. Not sure why I couldn't find it before.

Thanks.
