Has anyone created a 2 1/4" wide casing to set as default instead on the 2 3/4" that is default?

Thanks for the help

Yep see below.  This is your system options settings to save it for a future default, if you're in the middle of a project and want to change it make sure to change your project options to reflect this very same change.

if 2-1/4" isn't an options take your 2-3/4" profile and modify it as necessary then save it as 2-1/4" then set it in the illustration i attached.

to change the height of this colonial for example:

draw/detail/profile

draw it/edit it/save it as new profile then use it as i explained in the first post....good luck, you'll figure it out.

Use this method to create a crazy new profile if you see something that looks better.

Not that it always matters, but remember, SP does not model trim in the position it would actually be installed. Exterior trim on clad windows/doors may be correct at times. It sets the trim outside the frame. Interior trim, obviously, does not get installed that way. If you are trying to represent exact trim, you may want to create a detail to show how it actually would look.

You can download most any trim profile DXF or DWG and  import it and create a profile to use.
