Harlon, I don't know of any video, but there is this from the help files:

Selecting Multiple Items for Adjusting

SoftPlan offers several commands that allow you to select groups of items together for adjusting at one time. These commands are available in the Right-click menu that is displayed when right-clicking on an item. These commands include Add Selection, Add Type Selection, Add Group Selection and Add Grouped Objects to Selection. See Illustration 3.

To Use Add Selection

1.   Right-click on one of the items you would like to adjust. The item highlights and the Right-click menu opens (see Illustration 3).

2.   Select Add Selection.

3.   Press the ctrl keyboard key and click on any other items that you would like to add to the selection.

4.   Right-click once again. A menu opens displaying the commands that you can select to edit and/or adjust all of the items in the selection simultaneously.

Using Add Type Selection for Editing Items of the Same Type

Items of the exact same type can be selected together for editing on the drawing screen. For example, all 2x4/Brick walls, all basin oval symbols, all boxes, and so on. To do this:

1.   Right-click on one of the items you would like to adjust. The item highlights and the Right-click menu opens.

2.   Select Add Type Selection. All items of exactly that type are highlighted.

3.   Right-click once again. A menu opens displaying the commands that you may select to edit and/or adjust the items in the selection simultaneously.

Using Add Group Selection

Items classed together (e.g., all walls, all symbols, all openings (windows and doors), and so on) on the drawing screen may be selected for adjusting or editing. To do this:

1.   Right-click on one of the items you want to adjust. The item highlights and the Right-click menu opens.

2.   From the Right-click menu, choose Add Group Selection. All items classed together are highlighted.

3.   Right-click once again. A menu opens displaying the commands that you may select to edit and/or adjust the items in the selection simultaneously.

Adding Grouped Objects to the Selection

Items that have been grouped using the Group command may be selected for editing using Add Grouped Objects Selection. To do this:

1.   Right-click on one of the items in the group that you want to adjust. The item highlights and the Right-click menu opens.

2.   From the Right-click menu, choose Add Grouped Objects Selection. All items in the group are highlighted.

3.   Right-click once again. A menu opens displaying the commands that you may select to edit and/or adjust the items in the grouped objects simultaneously.

      -  If you want, you can add other items to the Grouped Objects selection. To do this:

          i.    Place your cursor on the item and right-click.

ii.   From the menu that opens, select Under Cursor ® the item type's name ® Add Selection. That item is then highlighted and added to the group.

      -  For more information on using the Group command, see Grouping and Ungrouping Items.

Note:

·    If you would like to remove any of the items from the selection:

      i.    Place your cursor on the item and right-click.

ii.   From the menu that opens, select Under Cursor ® the item type's name ® Remove Selection. That item is then removed from the selection.

·    If you would like to remove all items from the selection, right-click and select Clear Selection from the menu that opens.
