I was told I could use soft plan review to import a pdf into the program, where I could draw over it. I have not been successful.
Any ideas?
I purchased the review module and can create and export PDFs, but the import PDFs part is grayed out and unavailable.

Click on File, System Options, System Options again and click on Program Activation. In the new dialog, click Online Update. Click OK to close open dialogs and answer Yes when prompted to save changes. Exit out of the program and then come back into the program and see if it is available.

if you have adobe acrobat - you can export the "pdf" as a jpeg.  Import said jpeg into your drawing.  assign it a layer.  you can adjust the jpeg size to get the scale right, as well as change it's opacity so you can draw over it.

I import pdf all the time using "convert pdf to shapes" in order to create details from pdf files. I know it works pretty well!

I was having problems with the "move to the back" or move to the front" options with 2020.

But since 2022, I can move an image PDF to the back of the screen or move lines etc. to the front.

This is nice for using a site plan that didn't come as a PDF of Lines.

Altho I believe it works with the vector? PDFs also,

But the "move to front, or move to back plays a nice role, somewhere in this.

Did you get a answer from Softplan on this? Were you able to get it to work?

Check with Softplan sales, but I believe you can purchase Review as a stand alone module, without the Plus subscription.
