Does anyone else ever have any problems with messy pdfs like shown on this roof? I'm using pdf Redirect to export these files because I do not have Softplan+.

Attached File  Capture.PNG   788.41KB   1 downloads

It usually occurs when the paint adapts to sharp pointed corners. I've messed around with the quality settings to no avail.

Is there any way to avoid this or is there a better pdf printer available?

Like Rick, if I have to, I use CutePDF Writer. Never seen PDF's come out like that.

I use SoftPlan's Export PDF by right clicking on the Plan Set. In literally thousands of PDF's created this way I have never had even one problem. They always come out perfect.

I think you need to have Softplan+ to gain access to that feature. In any case, I don't have it.

I downloaded cute pdf and it came out looking exactly the same as the one above. I'm rendering it at 600 dpi on an ARCH D page.

Wendall, can you post the original *.spd file ... just that file ... if possible. (Spd isn't a valid attachment, so add it to a zip file). So that we can investigate further.

It's possible that the ridge caps are distorting the roof planes. That's happened to me in the past.

You only need the ReView module, 395$

One is printed from Review and the other from Cutie. I don't see a difference.

It looks messed up when you look at it online, but if you download it and save it to your computer then open them they look good. I attached a screenshot from the pdf.

I can see some of those lines even when I download the pdfs although they do look better than mine. I wonder if the computer being used has an effect on how the pdf renders and displays.

When I don't export PDF through Plan Sets, I use Print to Microsoft PDF and have no problems.

The thing about Microsoft PDF is that it doesn't include the ARCH series of paper sizes.
