I am trying to upload a 3D model to google earth, however I keep receiving an error saying it "could not understand file". Anyone have a clue as to why this is happening?

What type of file is the 3D file you are trying to upload? i.e. What did you export the 3D model as?
Are you using FILE > PUBLISH > EXPORT GOOGLE EARTH?
