Hi

Has anybody had this happen to them? I set the color of my fascia to black in textured mode and it shows as black. When I change to Ray-Traced mode it changes to white. What could I do to solve the problem?

I think it has to do with the lighting settings. For some reason Ray Trace mode changes the way it treats the lighting in roughness and metal-ness vs the Ambient and Diffuse settings in other render modes.

Then what about this. In ray-traced mode the fascia follows the "Display color" even though the radio button for "Display Texture" checked.

Select the box for the color to auto-match texture. Then the color will be same as texture and show as such. If you change the color for any texture, you can get the texture mapping but the color you want. Best of both worlds. In the lighting tab try playing with the top 2 settings.

Tech support helped my out with this. The texture that I was using was a *.png file probably with an alpha channel. I saved the texture as a *.jpg and then everything worked.
