save the image in 3D textures folder somewhere. I have my logo saved in softplan/3D/textures/bitmaps/exterior finish so I can find it quickly and put it on things like a TV in renderings. Once you have it saved where you want it you just surface edit then find your file.

If necessary, make sure it tiles seamlessly though.
