Hello!

I am doing a simple "freebee" drawing for a local school for their lecture hall and just need to provide them with a reflected ceiling grid plan so they can draw in a lighting/HVAC retrofit layout. First time I ever ran into this issue due to the shape of the room I am guessing, when I display the grid it aligns to the side walls. I need it to align with the top wall ( basically 45 degrees to current position)   For the life of me I cannot figure out how to change the ceiling grid angle or if it's even possible. I am guessing (hoping) it is something simple I am missing or just don't know where to look. I could not find anything in the HELP section or online as far as adjusting the grid except for the X-Y axis's.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You so much!

Edit the edge you want to reference too, and check the reference edge box.

Right click the lollipop on the wall you want to reference, select "Edit Edge".  Toward the bottom of this menu, make sure "Reference Edge" is checked. It doesn't allow you to set the angle, but should work for what you're looking to do. If the tiles are parallel to the correct wall but run the wrong direction, edit the ceiling polygon and flip your tile sizes around.

Thank You Keith and Derk! That was it! The one thing I couldn't find. High five to you both.
