Hi all, I'm doing a render and when I have shadows turned on, I end up with these light lines and was just curious if this is a bug or if there is any way to fix this?  I am using windows 11 with DX12 mode, on a RTX3060 mobile graphics card.

Thanks!

Kind of looks like studs showing thru?  Maybe in 3d go to:  extraction options/framing/wall framing then deselect wall framing.

Hi Joseph, Yep, I thought about that, but I already have framing turned off.

There certainly are some odd light and shadow artifacts that come through on renderings. Often I find lights shine through trim and components that ought not allow it. Shadows tend to also highlight things they shouldn't while drowning out details that should be better represented with a shadow. I find I have to settle for pretty good or good enough in native SP renderings.

It looks to me like the texture is wonky. One side of the texture is darker than the other so that you are getting a repeated pattern of dark to light as the pattern repeats.

Does it do it with all textures or just that one?

Thanks for all the responses, I was using a custom texture I made, but here's what it looks like using the white color texture from softplans library, the only thing I can think of is maybe there is some issue with windows 11, I've had no issues with anything else and I have tried a couple different versions of the graphics card drivers and still have the same result. another thing I did was turn shadows off and the lines went away, so it seems to have something to do with shadows.
