Has anyone used the LiDAR technology on an iPhone 14 to measure existing spaces?

I have.  I use an app called Canvas.  I use it with my iPad, but you can use the Lidar on your phone as well.  It allows me to go into any space and scan a single room or multiple rooms.  It generates a model that you can pull dimensions from, but you are also able to upload the scans back to them and within a day - 2 at the most - and they send back a pdf and a cad file with all the dimensions on them, for a fee of course.

Their customer support team has been good so far, very helpful.  And you can find videos on YouTube regarding best practices for scanning and what not.  I've found it to be time saving and pretty accurate compared to me running a tape by myself or even using my laser measurer (however you say that, lol).  I don't like doing reno jobs because of the time it takes to gather info on-site and to make sure you capture every little nook and cranny, but this makes it a breeze.

What are the alternatives to Canvas.....Seems they have really raised their prices in the last  two years.
