Hello All.  I'm in the process of creating a caulking formula for exterior corners.  When I tested it, it seemed to work fine.  However when I ran it in a real project, the real project had interior frame wall butting into the exterior wall.  Softlist is counting these situations as a corner and skewing the quantities.  I thought I would use the "tees" variable and bascially say if the wall has tees, don't count the tees.  Seem simple enough, but for the life of me I can't seem to get it to work.

The "original formula" attachment gives me the correct number of tubes of caulking (This would be for a garage or something where there are no interior partition walls).

However...

The "modified formula" seems report in the take-off, but the more interior walls I have butting into the exterior walls, the more tubs of caulking it subtracts from the take-off.  So clearly the formula isn't correct.  I basically want the formula to ignore any interior/exterior partition walls butting into the exterior perimeter walls.

I think using the tees variable is the way to go, I'm just not sure how to write the formula to get what I want.

Anybody have any thoughts?

Thanks,
Dan
