Solids, and then apply a texture that looks good.  The brick row lock will not look as nice as what we can do on openings.   I guess you could dbl up the solid to make the indention...but that would be cumbersome.

Base Trim is much faster.  You'll need to change the finish so you don't end up with brick baseboards in the house.  If you are using Softlist you may need to make some changes as well.

Is this the look you want?

Softplan usually has several ways to accomplish the same thing, but on the site plan I would place four  solid polygons with mitered corners. Make sure the two opposite sides are solid1 and solid 2 so when you surface edit the two sides can turn the brick solider 90 degrees. Then draw the outline for the 'Site Work' 'Concrete' . You'll need to tweak the elevations of the solids and on one of the solid textures of the brick solider options may need to check scale.

Hopefullly the photo uploaded

Thanks,

TOM

I typically use walls for the brick around a porch. I have a special wall just for that.

It would be nice if we could easily add borders to slabs.

Thank you. That makes more sense now. The number of solutions posted, all seemed to fix a different problem.

If we could get some of the features and /or options that we have when drawing decks added to concrete slabs, it would be much appreciated.

Here’s some examples:

And, we can add insulation under a slab by checking a box, how about adding another box to automatically add gravel underneath the slab and insulation?
