Has anyone had an issue with this happening? I opened a project that I had worked on last night and noticed that my 2nd floor plan was missing intermittent lines & text thru-out the drawing.I tried turning off and on the offending layers and then shutting down SP, but neither worked . I then went and spent an hour putting the missing information back in. Then at some point this afternoon while switching between drawings the items show back which really set me off because I had to go back and erase items behind items. Lots of wasted time. Any suggestions possible for correcting this issue in the future?

Thank you,

Did you check all the layers and all the modes?

If it happens again, open the VISIBLE ITEMS menu and check the DISPLAY EVERYTHING box at the bottom. You should then be able to find where you put the "missing" items. Typically happens if you add lines and text whilst in ELECTRICAL MODE or similar.

sometimes a file will be corrupt,

if you keep on having issues with a particular drawing,

go to / file / new drawing and give it the file name your having

issues with but add "merge" to it.

than save that file and open it.

than go to / file / merge and a list of your drawings will appear

and pick the file your having the issues with.

now see if that has helps with any or all of the issues on

the original drawing.

if it's fixed,  you can delete the original drawing and rename

the new drawing to what the issue drawing was named

(or anyway that makes since to you)  -  your the boss.

With Display everything active, you can right click an item, go to INFO at the bottom, and it will tell you what layer it's on etc.
