What is the trick to getting the (gable end material provided by roof) material to flush with Wall?

See ATTACHED.

I got it to work before.  Not using fit top of wall to roof because we use platform framing.  In the past Ive placed them on another level, but there must be a way to adjust the surface.

Change the thickness of the gable material.

Move the roof reference to be on the wall on your brick example...its obviously not in the right place.  The siding won't be flush with the brick because it won't get built that way...draw it like you build it

Neither of these worked.  I finally got it by unchecking the "gable end provided by roof) option. And then on the wall below used the "fit wall to roof).  Then I reset wall to Normal Ht. and again selected "Gable end provided by roof" and the surfaces aligned.

Not sure what is going on.  I used Clean up on each attempt
