Hi Guys

(1) Is there a way in Softplan to add goose neck to a staircase handrail? (2) Can a handrail be curved 90 degree horizontally, to die into a post or a wall? If not, what are the work around?

Probably your best bet are symbols.

We can work out the basics of the stairs in Softplan but does anyone know of a program that specializes or perhaps written to do stairs only?

Your best bet is probably contact a specialist stair manufacturer.
