Can someone tell me if there is an industry standard way of showing roof and ceiling slope direction on a floor, ceiling or roof plan? Should arrows point down the slope for roofs & ceilings? Down for roof slopes & up for ceiling slopes?

If I show it I show down for roofs, up for ceilings. More often than not I use the roof pitch symbol. I did make some Speed notes with the pitch and an arrow so it goes fast if I want to show it.
