This is not a site for selling houseplans.

I don't think that was a bad thing to see if the plans could move, but everybody here does plans, and with Softplan, pretty easy, and doesn't make sense for a plan drawer to look for a buyer to match the plan.  There is a million buy plan sites online. I would wonder how those sites do. Altho doing the arithmetic, it would not take a lot of plans that just pass thru a website to make a couple bucks.

Fred, I agree, and do not think this would be a good place to sell plans for the reasons you mentioned. I told the individual I helped with a house plan that I would do a query asking about selling plans here before attempting to sell his plan. Thanks for the response. Steve

I was a little fishing to get some thoughts on those on line plan sites,   I think probably everyone drawing plans runs into at least conversation about those plans. I am wondering about positive and negative thoughts on these plans. In most cases I would think a plan drawer has to get involved to do little changes, and site plan. Seems there are a few people running the plan sites, on this forum.

One thing on the sites usually is that the roof pitches are things like 10/12 etc. which become very costly and are not practical, so the plan elevation looks really good, and might need lowering due to cost.

I don't know what volume may be out of theses sites, but they certainly give the customer things to get ideas from.   Not sure how one stop shop these sites might be.

I sold $97k worth of plans online last year with online publishers.  Maybe 1/3 of them with modifications.  Never done a site plan for a buyer.  Most people buy it as is.
