How do I get a live 3D view on a plan set? Currently, I save the 3D view as an image, then import the image onto the plan set. Whenever I make any changes I have been going through those steps again. Is it possible to save the camera position so that I can make changes I can go back to the same view in 3D as I had earlier?

From the 3d window: FILE > VIEW FILE > SAVE. To access the saved camera position: FILE > VIEW FILE > LOAD.

Drag whatever saved 3D view you have in the list to your plan set page. Then, adjust size and location as you wish.

What is nice is once the view file is on the plan set you can update the image on the plan set just by adjusting the image.  No longer do you have to remove and add a new view file image.

Just use the right click menu to regenerate. Only issue is you have to be sure your sun and lighting settings are the way you want them. And, best to save the rendering view in the format you want (ie: visible line, sketch, illustrated, texture, etc...) Then it will always regenerate as you want. If you've changed the time of day (using sun for lighting) you have to make sure to get it back where you want. The ability to set the sun and all lighting settings for saved views has been suggested several times, but we still don't have that feature (as far as I can tell).
