Is there a way to show fir strips in a wall section detail.

 

I know I can add a fir strip material to a wall section, but is there a way to make the fir strips show up 16" o.c. on the plan view.

 

See snip below.  (I manually drew in the little solid boxes.)  I would like to know if there is a way to have it show up on the drawing like this?

I would add a stud by editing the wall definition, adjust the stud size (1x3) and location on the wall and, once all is set, save the new wall..... Hope that makes sense.... and works.
