I'm trying to figure out how to add sheet specific titles to plan set page.  It's not something I want to put on a drawing that goes on the plan set page.  In my case, I want to have a title at the top that I can put the House model name (this is for an 11x17 sales plan) and a title at the bottom which give the title for the entire sheet.  I don't want to have to make a new title block for each configuration.

The question would also apply to adding sheet specific items like "Drawn by" or "Checked by".  In other words, things that need to be filled in on each page but don't come from the project info.  Also, I don't really like the automatic sheet numbering and prefer to just enter it manually.  If this were autocad, I'd put an attribute block in each sheet and double-clicking on it would allow me to fill in the info.  I'm looking for something similar in Softplan.

I made a symbol that was an attribute having the info, but it doesn't appear I can put that on a sheet directly.  Just thinking of it now, maybe I have to make a separate drawing for this with the symbol and put that on the sheet.

Is that the best way to do something like this?

Thanks.

That was my initial thought on how to do it. Put whatever symbols you want on a drawing and add that drawing to the planset.

Thanks.  I had looked at that post but it's not quite what I'm trying to do.  Stamps are great for project specific items that would be the same on all your sheets.  I was essentially looking for a way to place unique sheet titles and sheet numbers on each planset page so that they were always in the exact same spot without a tedious manual process.

I found some fairly good approaches to do this though.  I can do the title or page number or sheet number as normal text and then use the copy to Softplan clipboard function and paste to all the other sheets.  Fairly tedious, but not the end of the world.  Better yet, I learned that you can create new sheets as copies of other sheets. This can work as a template by having one sheet in the set that has no drawings on it but all of the sheet specific text needed and always copying that when making new sheets.  Then you just edit the text on each sheet to get what you want.  But it's all located properly and automatically.

the new and improved Overlay function may provide an option also.

Have a sheet with the custom attributed symbols on it and overlay it to each drawing as necessary.

There are user defined stamps that you can use to make whatever you need.
