Is there a way to track revisions and their dates on the title blocks? I would like to have a way to enter the data and maybe a description and keep this as a permanent note w/ date on all the title blocks for the plan set.  Curious if anyone has set-up their title block to do this?  If you have, send it to me so I don't have to do it :)  Thanks!

Try using Revision Box in the Notes Tab and put the Revision Schedule in the Title Block.  If you don't want the Revision Cloud shown on your drawing, just put out of the print area and move the Identifier onto the drawing or not if you just want the schedule.

You could also create User Information Defined Stamps and just put the @user_Revision 1 in your Title Block.  This would require you go to Project Options>User Information Defined Stamps to update the revisions as opposed to having it directly in the drawing.

I would use User Information Defined Stamps.

In Project Options select User Information Defined Stamps. Select Add. Create an entry such as Date-1 then select OK.
Select Add. Create an entry such as Date-1-Notes then select OK.
Repeat for as many revisions as you want to set up.

On your Title Block add the stamps @USR_Date-1, @USR_Date-1-Notes, etc. for each of your custom stamps you created.

Then as you create each revision simply go to User Information Stamps in the Project Settings and fill in the date and note. The information will be inserted into your Title Block.

If you set up the stamps in your System Options then you can simply go to User Information Defined Stamps in each project and select Reset to System to bring the stamps into the project.

I use this to enter information into all my projects when there are no built-in stamps for what I want to add.

To crank it up a notch... This is what I am going for with the revision number and date auto and populating to all plan pages.  The date not changing once it goes in.  So this is one of those "show me what you know".  Seriously, I think this would be a great asset to plan sets and I have no idea how to make all this happen.  I did some work once where I had to enter the data on one page and then copy and paste it to all the other pages while deleting the old stuff.  That really sucked!

I think I have a simple solution since I have to enter the data the first time no matter.  Create a separate plane set page for each project (no big deal, just rename and save) and then enter the data on the saved plan set page original and it will populate through the entire set....Simple.  Happy.  All is good.

Here is how I finally resolved this.  I saved the title block with all the info except the revision schedule to the project.  The title block has a space to add the Revision Schedule that I create and insert  into the new project title block.  I then have to adjust all the font sizes and column sizes to fit the title block. (I do not see away to just select the fonts on the Revision Schedule in the System Folder without changing the fonts for all the schedules).  Once that is done, I use the revision cloud, placing it off the new project title block - out of view.  I can now enter the info with a revision cloud and it will populate to the drawing pages.  It sounds like a pain but it only takes 5 mins or so once you get the hang of it.  Also, using word wrap in the column for comments keeps it all contained.  Having the title block saved to the project allows me to freely edit it for any specific project info and associates the revisions with this project.  Would be nice to be easier, but this works.
