Is there a way to cut a hole in a 3d plane?  I know there are some for specific objects, but I want to cut a hole in the site plan "planting bed."  Thanks!

Maybe there is a hole for planting beds, but I don't recall seeing one. The old method is to use the shape as a polygon around where you want the hole with an opening to the outer edge. Build the planting bed with the hole by tracing around and leaving a gap or slot out to the outer edge where the sides would connect. Then adjust the edges to meet.

Maybe there's something with the move to front that applies.           Seemed that didn't work for a will, and now seems to mostly work.   probably doesn't apply, probably just for flat drawings

I thought there might be a way to draw the planting bed as a 2D polygon, draw a hole in the polygon, extract the polygon and then apply the texture.  That might work, if SP would do that, but then getting it to slope to the site...... On to product suggestions....

Site Mode/Draw Tab/Misc/Site Hole. Edit and adjust the Depth to make the hole as deep as you need.
