I haven't really explored this tool too much but I did just watch a video of it's use. I am curious as to how other users are implementing this tool?

I have not tried it. We seem to change little notes and various parts of details so much to customize for each project that referencing a nested detail or such pieces of a drawing does not make sense (from my understanding). If I could get a comfy nest to work from like Fred posted I might change my mind.

I used them for a while to bring structural point loads down from my roof plan to my foundation plan but now that the overlay feature is out I use that instead.

I have also used them for multiplex's that have very similar interior layouts, just copy all the common items once. They worked okay.

Recently I used them to set up different areas of my title blocks for my plan sets so that if I wanted to modify our work address or a phone number I could do it in one click and it copies to the 200+ other title blocks.

I found that like most things with Softplan this worked better in theory but didn't work as smoothly as I had hoped.
