Using 2016 and having problem tying this roof in to fit right.

Right click the roof and edit the pitch. It's hard to tell you how to fix it, as we don't know what you are trying to achieve. You could also right click the edges and edit them to be hips rather than gables. What do you want to see.

Got this  far but how do I not have eves coming thru wall and facer not going down side of house wall.

Robert,

In roof mode go to DRAW> HOLE. TRACE HOLE then select ( Click on) the roof you would like to cut

out ( the parts of roof you want to remove ) enable the snap tool and following the roof outline trace around

the perimeter of the portion you would like to remove to complete a polygon. After the hole is created right 

click on the hole and select HOLE>EDIT and deselect soffit and fascia. Regenerate the 3D and the unwanted 

roof sections should go away. If some parts are still visible zoom in closely along the edges of the hole as the

edges may need to be adjusted( RIGHT CLICK>ADJUST) for the hole to completely remove the unwanted portion of the roof.
