Hello Steve and Carla ,  Would it be possible for you to send me the file you created the parallel chords trusses with. This way I could pick it apart to draw my own.

You have to draw your roof and ceiling the same slope and adjust your heel heights to define the depth of your trusses. Then, when you draw the roof trusses in roof mode, they will attach and follow the shape of the roof and ceiling.

Set your roof options up to suit what you need.

 

DRAW > ADD SHED ROOF and select the hip roof. All the other three will then be gables.

 

Add ceiling at the same pitch as the roof, then when you add the trusses they will fit between the ceiling and the roof.

I need help drawing sloped roofs using parallel chord trusses. If anyone has this perfected it would be great if he or she would share the info.
