Auto dimensions work with exterior walls.  Try switching them to an exterior and it should work

Forgot to add if you want to dimension the partition, as is, you can use single extions, type dimension or group extension.

You'll need to use either an exterior wall for your design or you will have to edit the partition to be a bearing wall. SP Auto dimension does not work with partition walls.

Auto dimension or Auto Dimension Side works based on load bearing walls or exterior walls and the interior walls that connect with exterior walls if set in the System or Drawing Options. If you edit the definition of your 5.5 inch partition and set the studs to bearing, then the Auto Dimension will work.
