If you are referring to the temporary dimensions then go into system options and there is a checkbox on the first screen for turning on or off the temporary dimensions.

Thomas I have not yet upgraded to 2020 but in 2018 you can turn off

auto extension and dimension under System options>setup options>options>uncheck Auto Extensions and Dimensions

Does anyone know how to turn off the automatic dimension feature in 2020? I move a wall/window etc., then a thousand dimensions show up, they go into places they don't belong. I can't find a dimension setting that can turn off this feature in drawing or system options.
