Don and Keith are correct, SoftPlan version 5 spanned '90, '91 and '92.  The first true Windows version was version 10, released in 1998.  Prior to that they were all DOS programs, although they could be run under the then new Windows OS.

I started with Softplan in 1992. The first version I used was 5.2.2.5.

So, as Don said ... in 1991 it was probably early Version 5.

I started in 1988. It was version 4.8 I believe.  It was a DOS version.  I was building around 30 to 35 houses a year and all I needed was floor plans.  The next version after that was a Windows version.  You needed Windows 3.1 (not real sure of the number) to run it.  I did not upgrade until V13.

I started in 1987 and that was version 2. In 1991, that probably would have been version 5 or so I think.

I first started using Softplan in 1991 can anyone tell me what version that might have been?

Softplan does not have a Wikipedia page which is where I looked at first.
