Replying to multiple pitch hip roofs

Recently did a project with different hip pitches.  If you have eave soffits that meet in the same plane be alert to the fact that the eave on the lower pitched roof may need to extend further to meet in the same plane as the steeper pitch.

If doing a double hip on a roof edge, then select that edge, click on double hip from the roof plane menu. Then set lower and upper pitches and what horizontal distance you want the lower pitch to use. If you are thinking you want something else let us know. Many ways to work out roof designs. Some are not as simple, but ways to do it.
