I had offered this suggestion in the past.  I love it that Softplan monitors these forums and actually pays attention.  Thanks John!

FInally! I can now show different Building Options while retaining the Annotated Drawing Mode. I was having the problem of always having to export to a rendered drawing file for each Building Option, but it would sometimes mess up my dimensions if they were not layered properly in the Building Option settings. This is a great feature that I am looking forward to utilizing heavily ever since the concept of Annotated Drawings were introduced!

Hello - I head up the Architecture department for a production home builder.  We do lots of options which need to show in a master set.  I've been evaluating Softplan via a trial to see if the options could work for us and let us get away from the complicated AutoCAD system we are currently using .  I was pretty excited about Softplan until I realized that you can't show 2 different elevation options on the same page or even in the same set without a lot of cumbersome work.  It seems to me that, just like with plans, you should be able to set up views of all the elevation options as long as they are not annotated views.

I'm wondering if it would work to set it up this way and then export those sheets to AutoCAD.  Then I would use that as an xref to an AutoCAD sheet file where I add all the annotation.  But my trial doesn't allow me to test out how exporting actually works.  Can you export a sheet of views like I would like to?  And would the exports be consistent every time so that whenever I make changes to the model, it would be a simple matter to re-export the elevation sheets, overwrite the old file and have them automatically show up in my AutoCAD sheet files (with everything in the same locations)?  I assume there is some sort of matrix that will allow you to tell Softplan what layers to convert things to(?)

If you have any thoughts on this, I certainly woudl appreciate it.  Thank you.
