Kaleigh, if I understand you question correctly, go to erase and choose Block Cut.  Just left click close to the wall and draw a rectangle through the wall.  Do that where ever you want to break the wall.  Then select move and drag the wall to it's new location.  Then draw new connecting wall to finish.

You can use "Part Erase" or "Block Cut" found with the "Erase Tab".

1/  Tools > Break

or

2/  Erase > Block Cut

Hi everyone, sorry for all the questions, I just cannot find answers to them!

I have a front wall to a house, and it has all the windows and exterior door in it, it is 1 straight wall.

i now need to break the wall, so the center 3 feet protrude 2 feet in front of the current wall (with windows and door in that section moving with it)

Is there a split or break command?  or an easier way to do this then having to redraw it all?

thanks so much
