Replying to DRAWING 2D DETAILS

From the main menu bar you can select shapes of all kinds to draw on the drawing.  And you can go to the detail tab and select all kinds of details.  There are a bunch of 2D symbols you can use.  And they can easily be "exploded" and modified.  You can import pdf drawings as "lines" and edit them to create 2D stuff.  And on and on and on......  You can save an annotated view (elevations, sections, etc) as an SP file and you can then edit that to create more 2D drawings.  Have fun. 

Ok, I'm not the brightest necessarily but where do you draw 2d details in Softplan? You can't right click details in the navigation window and open a tab to start drawing in. you can't right click on the drawing line of any of the different options in the navigation window and open a drawing tab. you can't go to the window menu and open a tab to start drawing in so where do you draw 2d details? there is nothing in the book, online, youtube or anywhere else i that i can find that deals with drawings 2d details.

Frustrated to no end!
