The builder that produced the drawings still owns the copyright...wouldn't touch it without his written permission to use his drawings and modify

Hi, David. Thank you for your response. We'd really like to work with someone closer to us in Michigan so we can sit down and go over the changes. Just looking to shrink the plan. Thank you.

It's a custom design (by us) that we had a builder draw up. Builder is too busy to get us back in anytime soon to make the revisions.
Do you have permission from the original designer to use and modify their plan?
