I was just renaming it Anthony.  It probably does work, at least better, with how tech says if you did it in explorer but now I only do it via the "copy project" and have not had any issues.

I've never noticed the "copy project" option in the menu Tom, thanks for the heads up I may just use that in the future.  Were you deleting the spp file Tom or just renaming it?  I was having the same difficulties when I first switched to 2014 but softplan tech said you were ble to copy via explorer but you definitely need to delete the spp file and let SP create a new one rather than rename it as it causes troubles with the cloud.

Do NOT copy the folder to a new location in file explorer.  I did this many times and it killed me in version 2014.  Open the original project and then do a Copy project in Softplan.  This will save them as separate projects.  When you do it the other way there is a link in the original project that causes the first problem as it confuses Softplan on which file is to be updated

You can also copy the entire folder using Windows file explorer and paste it into a new folder or just copy it and then rename it.

Rename the .spp file as needed and make sure that under File > Project Information the box is checked for "Automatically Copy to Softplan Clud"

You can do it in windows or in SP by right clicking the file names in the Navigation pane, drawings in the Model need to be removed from the model before being renamed.  If renaming in windows while the project is open the navigation pane will not be updated until you exit and reopen the project.

I should say, is there a way, without having to 'save as' with everything?

Thank you!

Is there a way to rename the floor plans after I do this? they still have the old naming nomenclature, but i need to change then to reflect the updated file name.

Exit the project, erase the .spp file, reopen project with "Open an Existing Project" and a new .spp file will be created in the project folder and the cloud will update properly.  The new spp file is created as long as there are .spd files in the project folder.
