Hello,

I am currently trying to model a proposed drainage system. I am trying to make a drawing to show dimensions, however the subfloor doesn't seem to show in the elevation views. Is there a way to make them show? Thank you.

Not sure I understand your question? Your talking about drainage and subfloor? What kind of elevation are you trying to generate. On standard plans, you have your exterior finishes that hide the subfloor.

I must admit, I too am vague about why you want to show subfloor on an elevation, normally you get subfloor on a section? Can you explain what you are doing and what you need in a little more detail, please. We can then try and figure out the best way to help you.

Sorrry about the misunderstanding. Basically I am trying to show a drainage system for a foundation. Just a 2D image of the foundation wall, slab, pipe system (which I imported from SoftPlan), and the floor. I asked a question a few days ago about how to turn my elevation view into a drawing which helped me out significantly. However, when I have the elevation view it does not show the floor. This model is less about accuracy since I will be doing the dimensions manually as an example and more about showing what is the proposed fix. Is there any way I can show the subfloor or model a floor on top of the slab.

Sorry about the vagueness that was not my intention. It might mostly be to my inexperience but basically I am looking to model a 2D image of a foundation drainage system. I want to create a 2D image of it so I can show the foundation, footing, slab, pipe system (which I made a imported from SketchUp), and the floor. However, i cant get the floor to show in the elevations. Like I said it might mostly be due to my inexperience with SoftPlan. Is it possible to make a section cut and use that as a drawing to dimension the model?

Maybe having a section instead would work better and show all your floor and wall components?
