Do a search on the SketchUp 3d warehouse https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/ . I found several similar to yours when I searched " Fireplace mantle". Once you find one you like save it and create a SoftPlan symbol and place it in your model.
Bill W's Website has a great tutorial on making symbols from SketchUp drawings https://softplantuts...ategory/Symbols

There's absolutely no reason why you can't draw that with Softplans 3D solids (or even just CUBES - depending on how detailed you need it). That way you can make every piece exactly the size that you require. Just size and offset, you don't even need to do any rotation.

the easiest is to find a 3d model in sketchup and export it to softplan /
read up on the 'symbol wizard'.
next would be to draw it with "solids" as keith suggests.
tip: if you need anything with a flat top and bottom
and angled sides.
use the solid / pyrimidal frustum.
last but not least, learn sketchup and draw it there.
i think you can do it with the trial version download.
they say it's real easy to learn sketchup.
i haven't tried yet i bought the pro version.
i find the free models in sketchup and
softplan is all i need.

You can draw this using the Softplan Cabinets and adding Crown Moldings and other trim details.
If you go into the cabinets and create your own adding style rails and panels and adjust sizes etc.
the end resul tshould give you what you are looking for.
