To use the SoftPlan User Forum please register or update your registration of SoftPlan.

In the SoftPlan program go to Help->About SoftPlan (Version)->Details->Update Registration Information.

After registration you will be sent an email describing how to login.

How does one go about changing thier name on this forum? I'd like to revert back to 'Carver' as i was on SPLASH. I looked on the profile/settings pages & couldn't see anywhere to do this. Thanks, Gary

Don't think you can.  Pretty sure they use the registered SP name on file...i agree...I prefer 'jsmith800' rather then Joseph Smith for FBI & CIA purposes.   :)

Is there a way for multiple forum users per key? There are a few of us at our office who would like to use the forums but we'd prefer not to share a login..

Is there a way to edit my status as "Newbie?" I've been using Softplan since Version 9 (I think) and have been on "Splash" since very early on. I'm not a frequent participant, but I am definitely not a "Newbie!" Thanks!

Forum status is based on the number of postings, not indicative of actual proficiency with the Software.

(I for one, am a prime example)

Make a few more postings, .. your status will change. If I recall correctly (probably not though), mine changed after 10 or so.

Edit .. maybe it was 20, .. it happened fairly soon though, .. so you've not that far to go.

.. invariably, someone will have a simpler solution.

Thanks for the info. I will look at "Newbie" in a whole new light, compared to "Oldie" as suggested by Yvon!!

At the top, beside the Forum tab, you have an Archive tab. Click on the Archive tab and you'll have access to Splash.

I would like to be able to change my name too.  My Soft Plan key is registered under my boss's name.  Therefore, on here I'm Ken instead of Kathy.

Kathy,

Do you have a key for each of you? I think that you would need to make a new profile with the key number that is specific to you.

I'd like my login in this forum to stay logged in. It keeps making me sign in again after a period of inactivity. and my password is too long and cryptic to remember so I have to keep looking it up.
