I'm having an issue importing a DWG file (a site plan from an engineer) - when it imports, it is not to scale. I'm assuming it is not a softplan issue and maybe something with the DWG but wanted to check if anyone has run into this.

Maybe even more than that. As far as I remember, in Autocad, you set a scale, and Softplan is actual size. So if the AutoCad Site Plan drawing is 1:200 then you would multiply it by 200 to get it to 1:1 etc.

I always use the "Adjust Size" function with the snap activated and select a distance on a line I know the dimension of and that works pretty well.

When you say "Not to Scale", I assume you mean not to a recognizable scale? Once you find out the multiplier it should be correct. As Yvon said, find the biggest known dimension you can, and use adjust size.

If the DWG drawing units are set to "architectural - inches" it should come in scaled correctly every time. Unless of course your Softplan drawings are in metric..
