Importing CAD symbols

Is there any way to import this kind of symbol in a simpler form? This is useless as is.

What format is that? Is it just a 2D symbol? Or 3D?

Just imported into Sketchup and it comes in way simpler. Now to see if I can save it for SP in that simpler form.

That works! Import to Sketchup. Export as dxf. Open in SP

Although it is still really complicated based on how long it takes to save as a SP symbol

I tried the same cooktop and did not get the error.

I wish they would simplify their symbols though because it is unnecessarily complicated.

Chris, did you make construction points visible? It looks like some of the nodes from the cad file are converting to construction points. I could be wrong.
