Is there a way to make a stair landing two different sizes? Like 3 feet wide in one direction and 4 feet wide in another direction. I always end up just exploding and drawing the landing out of a box but it would be nice to know if it is possible and I have always just missed it.

Hi Brian,

Have you tried using adjust and grabbing the right side of the landing polygon?

The only way I know is Draw>Stair>Landing which is similar to drawing a box but is not just shapes like a box is.

Yup...like Yvon said...I don't think its possible unless you draw the landing and stairs as separate components

I draw the landing as an "L" shaped deck, then add the stairs separately, then I beat my head profusely as I keep adjusting the deck/stair land offset, stair offsets, and stair rises to the height needed.

I would draw the stairs as an angled unit to allow SoftPlan to set the number and height of the risers.  Adjust the width of the top and bottom straight sections of stairs as needed.  Explode one time.  Then draw a landing to the size needed and set the offset.
