I can't remember how long ago.. Or even which thread. But there was a thread that talked about deleting extra data files... Sorta like spring cleaning... Does anyone have a link or share the process. Was it worth it?

Thanks

If you're talking about deleting Recovery Folders, .. (redundant ones)

Open your 'Windows Explorer' (I use Windows 7, .. may be different with 10 if that's what you're using)

Anyway, .. use the 'Search' box and type 'Recovery', .. this will find all the Recovery Folders on your system.

Once found you can delete them from there, .. click the first in the list, hold down "Shift" and click the last in your list, .. this will select all in between and you can delete all at once.

Hold "Control' to select individual files/folders, ..

Same can be done for View Files and Softview Cache, .. if you'd like to remove those also, ..

.. invariably, someone will have a simpler solution.
