Noticed this problem for a while now that when I copy a project, some openings (but not all) will show up on the copy as reversed. When I edit those windows, the Horizontal Reverse box is checked. Anybody else noticed this and if so, if you have 2016, has this been resolved?

Yvon, In the System Options under Setup Options is a box titled Auto Determine Opening Hinge Direction

try unchecking , if checked, as Softplan may reset the hinge direction upon cleanup.  Steve

Thanks Steve, I checked but the Auto Determine option is strictly for doors and only when you're actually drawing the door. It will position the hinges on the side closest to a wall. My saved elevations are what is changing so this doesn't affect it.

I know that in the past there as been some problems when reversing a plan.

There are clear anomalies i've seen while reversing a house.  Most likely not changed in V2016 if no one brings it to TS.

 

1. Openings sometimes loose text

2. Overhead doors sometimes shows dashed track on the outside of the garage

3. Text justification is usually not correct.

4. Exterior doors left/right swing always needs to be changed.

I've been sending the following problems to TS for the last couple of versions but no solutions yet.

1. Doing a mirror image doesn't reverse window openings and combined units
2. Doing a reverse doesn't reverse combined openings
3. Exterior trim for garage doors should stop at top of foundation wall and not the base of the door (or have the option)

Not on 2016 yet (on 2014) so can someone confirm if any issues have been resolved with 2016?
