Not sure if there is a problem with S.E.R curved wall.

I looked at the how too that is in softplan itself for retaining walls and it shows how to do it, but it only will move horizontally or vertically (the mouse).  Am I doing anything wrong??

Thanks

Turn off cursor lock.  It should be F11 or F12 I don't remember which since I changed mine.

Thanks Martin.

How do you turn it off permanently?

I don't think you can.  That's why I moved mine closet to my left hand that I use on the keyboard.

No, you can't turn it off permanently, AND you would NEVER want to. If you draw a vertical wall by eye with it off, the chances of it being vertical are NIL.

holding down both "ctrl + a " (together)

once will unlock into 15 degree increments,

twice will unlock it to be free

note: easy to do with "ONE HAND"

better yet,  get a multi button mouse.

i've been using a

Logitech performance MX

with around 8 programmable buttons and such.

been working great for many, many, many years.

cost $100 at the time

one button is set for F12,  another for "snap"

set the other ones for commands you use a lot.

some other neat ones on the market from what i've heard.

you'll really miss it if you have to use a simple no button mouse with softplan

Randolph,

I know all about key board short cuts, use them a lot with web design (coding) with my text editor.

Thanks for the info. I use a track mouse with forward and back buttons, but never knew about the one you use. Thanks for that.  I might have to look into that.

Also, thank you everyone for the info!!
