So is there a way to find all the missing .png or elevation symbols  (.spy files) that seem to have dissapeared from my computer that came with Softplan+ downloads?

In the recent Friday Fundamentals they talked about having Trex colors for decks.  So I was trying to use them tonight and when I go into the library all the .png files are missing.  so as a result I can not use them.  How would I go about getting them back?  I dont want to reload program but wonder if they are/could be located somewhere else or to download them from the cloud again.

You can do a windows explorer search from the root directory of the drive the files were kept on using the syntax  *.png or *.sym

I am not sure what your DOS background is but the * is a wild card. It works with any file extension.

Cheers!

And when they are no where to be found?

Hi Tom.

Are you able to see the new Wayfair beds that were recently released for SoftPlan+ but not getting the SoftPlan+ Textures?

Correct.  Those too.  I can see the list of them but no images and can not select any.  After a while the symbol pop up shuts off since it can not find them.

Try closing SoftPlan and trying to access the textures/symbols again. If you are still having difficulties seeing the SoftPlan+ content, please contact support.

I try not too.  Had an IT guy tell me that turing computer on and off is the worst to do on the wear and tear of the drives and internal components.  I normally only reboot when absolutely necessary.  Otherwise it is just sleep mode

Well yes that's somewhat true, although these days nowhere near as critical as it was 20 years ago. However, rebooting the hardware and software occasionally is very beneficial too.
