Previously using the copy command you could hit COPY > 2'-0" left arrow > HOME > 5 > ENTER, and get 5 copies spaced at 2'-0" centres. Doing it now, it only gives 1 copy, because the number command is not active in the dialogue box.

 

I have suggested to Softplan that it be made so that the number box is highlighted so that the previous method of copying still works.

 

This extra step is taking some getting used too.

 

I dislike changes making the programme harder to use not easier ..... 

 

Personally, I don't see any advantage to having the distance box in the copy dialogue box .... Perhaps someone could enlighten me as to what it does, that we couldn't do quicker before!

 

The only benefit is see is that it now remembers MULTIPLE PLACEMENT ... Now that really is a bonus.
