20 years ago this month I started using Softplan. One of the best decisions I ever made!

My first two versions were DOS.  4 point something.  Bought it from a retail store in Atlanta.  In 1988 or 89.  I had a Compact computer with a 40 MB hard drive.  Printed the plans on a wide carriage IBM dot matrix printer.  I used it in house to draw floor plans on houses I was building. I upgraded from the DOS versions to V13.  Quite a leap.  Now using V2018.  I have just recently drawing plans for the general public.

I switched from acad to SoftPlan in the early 90’s. To be able to draw all the lines of a wall at one time was a Godsend. No more line offsets

Ah ... you opened the time machine!

I started on V5 and in all these years have not found any other software that I would consider.

Great company with great software and awesome Technical Support !!

I purchased V10, i could break away from Acad, then 2 years later upgraded to V12.  Ultimately decided i have too much money wrapped up in purchasing and upgrading i'd better start using it!
