A drawing started in 2018 and edited in 2020 1.7.  I put a dimension across the front and the front  dormer wall grew 2' taller and raised the roof without any input from me other than the dimension line.  The dormer wasn't even included in the dimension.

 

Then I changed drawing modes and half the roof re-referenced itself to somewhere below the wall tops.

 

This has happened to me before.  Why do these weird actions keep happening?

 

It's like the roof has a mind of it's own and is saying " I know you want me to sit on top of that wall but I like this one better, so SUCK IT!".

I will.  I've spent the morning working on the plan and it seems to have settled down.
